One Person's Perspective
Dr. Kaufman founded and maintains this site for informational purposes and from the perspective of her training in clinical psychology. Psychotherapy is an art as well as a science, and other researchers, clinicians, and academics may hold differing views and take differing approaches to any given aspect of psychology. In the real world, decisions are made on a case-by-case basis, and few approaches, no matter how broad, can be the "right" ones in all cases.
